Battle of the Razors-Flamingo V Billie

So….based on social media it seems like every gal is either using the Flamingo or Billie razors. But, are they really that good!? Well, I had to see for myself. I bought both and now I’m sharing my thoughts with you.

For a few years I was getting my razors shipped to me from Dollar Shave Club, so I’m no stranger to the auto-ship. I just hate shopping for essentials-is that just me!? Honestly, they were great. I love men’s razors and I did think they’re cheaper. Plus, I liked not having to remember to buy them. The appearance never mattered as much as the quality. Curiosity got the best of me, so I had to try these blogger favs. So…lets jump in.

Looks

Flamingo-I liked the muted and classic look of it

Convenience

Flamingo-Starter kit and blades from Target. Suction cup holder the handle pops in to and hangs in the shower.

Billie-Ships to me and I can control the frequency and order. Comes with a magnet to hang in the shower.

Billie Wins Can’t resist the convenience of these shipping to me and the magnet is so easy.

Function

Flamingo- Felt like it was dragging across my skin. Nothing on the blade to hydrate or smooth the shave.

Billie- Glides across my skin without shaving cream. May get a tiny bit goopy but the blade, but rinses clean and gives a close shave.

Billie wins this one hands down for me. It’s a smooth, quick shave, I don’t have to remember to buy refills and the magnetic hanger have me sold.
